Anson County Partnership for Children understands that parenting is the most challenging job you will ever love. We know that you want the best for your child, and sometimes that means seeking information, support, or help. The Partnership strives to improve outcomes for children by providing parents with support that enhances parenting, promotes parent involvement, and assists with issues that parents face.
Child Passenger Seat Checking Station
Safe Kids Anson County provides car seat inspections and installations for parents and guardians of young children by nationally certified child safety seat technicians.
In a group setting, participants gain critical literacy skills to support their sense of worth and ability.
This program engages participants in shared family reading by providing them with a sturdy red bag filled with high-quality, developmentally appropriate books every week and offering family involvement workshops.
Book Distribution
The Partnership for Children distributes books at community events to encourage the development of early reading habits.
Through the Second Harvest Food Bank, this program makes monthly distribution of diapers and other essentials to families in need.
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a FREE literacy program offered to every child in Anson County between birth and age 5. For information, contact Tracy Harrington.
