Dear Supporters and Children,

Since 1996, The Anson County Partnership for Children has proudly served the children of our community by making Anson  County a better place to be a child and to raise a child.

​

Ninety percent of brain development occurs between birth and age 5, making that the most critical time to foster positive learning experiences.  The Partnership works with parents, childcare providers and the community to engage in evidence-based programs as children grow. Over the past year:

​

• Through our partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, approximately 800 children across Anson County received books in the mail every month to add to their libraries.

• More than 1,200 community members visited the Early Childhood Resource Center for age-appropriate toys and books, diapers, car seats and referrals to other resources.

• 118 children attended high quality NC Pre-K programs to prepare for kindergarten at no cost.

These are just a few of the programs we offer to support young children and families in our area.  We need your help to continue this work.  The Anson County Partnership for Children's annual Barn Blast fundraiser allows you to invest in young children. Please help ensure that all children have an opportunity for success.

 

Our Barn Blast will take place on Friday January 31, 2025, at the Lockhart Taylor Center in Wadesboro with the hours being from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. This country-themed night fun features dinner, dancing, and a live auction.
